Daniel Dalton
Daniel Dalton is an MRes + PhD student at the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Future Infrastructure and Built Environment (FIBE2 CDT). His PhD will investigate structural optimisation methods for steel structures to improve design efficiency. His project is supervised by Dr. Jurgen Becque and Dr. Stefania Radopoulou (Trimble).
In 2023, Daniel graduated from the University of Warwick with an MEng degree in Civil Engineering. His final year project worked with TATA Steel to assess the conservativeness of steel-concrete composite slab openings.
